1. Scope and Who We Are
Parkenjoy LLC (“Parkenjoy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software for independent valet parking operators and participating hotels, restaurants, residential properties, and other venues (collectively, “Operators”). This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected through parkenjoy.com, Parkenjoy business applications, and parking, payment, validation, and VIP services powered by Parkenjoy. It covers website visitors, business contacts, Operator personnel, and individuals whose parking services are managed through the platform.
2. Parkenjoy’s Role and the Operator’s Role
Independent Operators provide the physical valet parking services. Operators generally determine the purposes and means of using parking customer information in connection with those services; Parkenjoy generally processes that information to operate and support its software for the Operator. Parkenjoy may also handle information for its own business administration, inquiries, platform security, legal compliance, and other purposes described here. Specific privacy responsibilities depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Operators are responsible for their personnel, lawful collection and use of customer information, and the permissions assigned to their users.
3. Information We Process
Depending on the interaction, Parkenjoy may process:
- (a) names, email addresses, phone numbers, business details, and correspondence from website or business inquiries;
- (b) business account information, login credentials in protected form, roles, assigned locations, and account activity;
- (c) parking customer names and phone numbers, license plates, vehicle make and color, parking tickets, arrival and retrieval records, parking history, validation and VIP information, and vehicle-condition photographs;
- (d) transaction amounts, tips, applicable taxes, payment method type (such as cash or credit card), dates and times, payment status, transaction references, and associated ticket or vehicle information;
- (e) Operator-configured parking-location addresses and geographic coordinates;
- (f) technical and diagnostic information associated with business applications; and
- (g) records of SMS consent, refusal, and opt-out preferences.
The information collected depends on the features used.
4. Vehicle Photographs and Location Information
Authorized valet personnel may capture vehicle photographs during check-in to document vehicle condition and help investigate or resolve damage claims or related disputes. Parkenjoy stores addresses and geographic coordinates for parking locations configured by Operators. Separately, while the Valet App is actively in use, it temporarily accesses an attendant’s device GPS location for security and location verification associated with Tap to Pay. Parkenjoy does not store individual attendants’ device GPS coordinates or movement histories in its application database, and the Valet App does not continuously track attendants while inactive or in the background. Parkenjoy does not collect parking customers’ device GPS location through its customer-facing application. Device permissions can be managed through device settings, although disabling certain permissions may limit functionality.
5. How Information Is Used
Parkenjoy processes information to operate, maintain, and secure its platform; support vehicle check-in, retrieval, VIP and validation functions; facilitate and reconcile payments; generate transaction records and receipts; provide authorized operational communications; respond to support requests and business inquiries; monitor application reliability and troubleshoot errors; investigate disputes and vehicle-damage claims; and meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. Valet attendant device location is accessed for the Tap to Pay security and location-verification purposes described above, not for continuous movement tracking.
6. Operator Access, Data Separation, and Exports
Authorized Operator personnel can view information relating to their own company and permitted locations, including customer contact information, vehicle information and photographs, parking history, and transaction details, subject to assigned roles. Only authorized senior-level Operator personnel with the relevant permissions may download or export customer personal information. Each Operator’s customer records are isolated from those of other Operators; Operator users cannot view or export another Operator’s customer records. Operators are responsible for assigning and managing access permissions and for lawful use of any information they view or export. Operators may request deletion assistance but cannot directly delete customer records from the platform.
7. Text Messages and Verbal Consent
Parkenjoy supports transactional text messages about valet services, such as vehicle check-in and retrieval, sent on behalf of Operators through Parkenjoy’s messaging infrastructure. At arrival, the Operator’s attendant requests affirmative verbal consent using the approved statement identifying the Operator and Parkenjoy before enabling SMS notifications. Supplying a phone number alone is not consent. If a customer declines, the phone number may still be recorded for legitimate parking operations, but SMS notifications must remain disabled and service may proceed through other means. Parkenjoy records the Operator and location, customer phone number, date and time, consent method (“Verbal”), acceptance or refusal, and the version of the consent statement. Operators are responsible for requesting and accurately recording consent; Parkenjoy provides the technology for recording preferences, sending authorized messages, and processing opt-outs. Customers may withdraw consent to transactional text messages by replying STOP or by contacting the relevant Operator or Parkenjoy. Valid opt-out requests will be honored in accordance with applicable law. Marketing or promotional SMS is not permitted through the Parkenjoy App; parking-related consent does not authorize marketing. Message and data rates may apply.

8. Payment Processing and Transaction Information
Parkenjoy uses Stripe to process electronic card payments. Payment card data is handled by Stripe during processing. Parkenjoy does not store or display card numbers, card brand, last four digits, expiration dates, or other cardholder data, and does not currently offer customers a saved-card feature. Parkenjoy stores transaction-level details such as amount, tip, applicable taxes, payment method type, date and time, payment status, and Stripe transaction references (including Payment Intent and connected-account identifiers), together with associated parking-ticket and vehicle information. Authorized Parkenjoy users and Operator personnel may access transaction records only as permitted by their roles. Stripe’s handling of payment data is subject to its own privacy practices.
9. Information Sharing and Service Providers
Parkenjoy may disclose relevant information to the Operator responsible for the parking service and its authorized users; to service providers performing functions on our behalf; to professional advisers; to authorities when required or permitted by law; and in connection with a legitimate business transaction subject to applicable legal requirements. Providers used in supporting the platform include Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS communications), Mailgun (email delivery), IONOS (hosting infrastructure), Google Firebase services (push notifications, crash reporting, and certain business-app analytics), and New Relic (performance and error monitoring). The categories of information available to a provider depend on the service it performs. Parkenjoy does not sell personal information. Operators’ use of information exported from the platform is subject to their own legal responsibilities.
10. Email Communications
Parkenjoy uses Mailgun to deliver transactional and business-related emails, including parking receipts, account invitations, password resets, Operator notifications, and other operational messages. Mailgun may process recipients’ email addresses, message contents, delivery status, and related technical delivery information. Parkenjoy does not currently use Mailgun to send marketing or promotional emails.
11. Website Technologies and Business-App Diagnostics
Parkenjoy does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising or behavioral analytics tools on its public website. Technologies necessary for basic website operation or security may be used. In business applications, Firebase Cloud Messaging supports push notifications; Firebase Crashlytics supports crash diagnostics; Firebase Analytics is enabled in the VIP Manager App for application usage analytics; and New Relic supports backend and application performance and error monitoring. Depending on the application and provider, these services may process device identifiers, application activity, crash reports, diagnostic information, and performance data. These business-app services are not used to conduct advertising or behavioral tracking of visitors to the public website.
12. Retention, Manual Deletion, and Backups
Parkenjoy retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide its services, support parking operations, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, meet applicable legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of the platform. Customer information is not automatically deleted when a parking transaction is completed. Retention decisions take into account the nature of the information, operational requirements, applicable legal obligations, and legitimate business needs. Deletion of customer information from the active database is performed manually by authorized Parkenjoy administrators or technical personnel. Valet parking Operators may request deletion of information associated with their operations, subject to applicable legal requirements and permitted retention exceptions. Parkenjoy maintains automatic database backups for recovery and business continuity. Information deleted from the active database may remain in backup copies until those copies are removed or replaced through applicable backup management processes. Individuals may submit privacy and deletion requests as described in this Policy. Parkenjoy evaluates such requests in accordance with applicable law and coordinates with the relevant Operator when appropriate.
13. Information Security
Parkenjoy uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. Communications between Parkenjoy applications and servers use HTTPS/TLS encryption. Account passwords are protected using a password-hashing mechanism. Role-based access controls restrict users to authorized information, and direct administrative access to the production database is limited to designated technical personnel. Parkenjoy maintains database backups for recovery and continuity. Operators are responsible for managing their own authorized users and devices. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Parkenjoy addresses security incidents and legally required notifications in accordance with applicable obligations.
14. Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, individuals may have rights concerning their personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other legally available privacy protections. Parking customers are encouraged to contact the valet parking Operator that provided their service first, because that Operator generally manages the underlying parking relationship. Where a request requires assistance with information maintained through the Parkenjoy platform, the Operator may coordinate with Parkenjoy to process the request. Individuals may also contact Parkenjoy directly at info@parkenjoy.com, including when they cannot reach the relevant Operator or wish to exercise rights available under applicable law. Parkenjoy will review requests, take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity when appropriate, and respond or coordinate with the relevant Operator in accordance with applicable law. Requests may be subject to legally permitted exceptions, including obligations to maintain certain transaction records or information needed to resolve disputes. Nothing in this Policy limits privacy rights provided by applicable law.
15. Hosting and International Processing
Parkenjoy’s primary application servers and databases are hosted in the United States. Some service providers, including communications, payments, infrastructure, and monitoring providers, may process or access information from other countries. Such processing is subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate contractual or other safeguards where required.
16. Children’s Privacy
Parkenjoy’s services are not directed to children under 13. Parkenjoy does not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe information about a child has been collected inappropriately, please contact us so we can review the matter and take action as required by applicable law.
17. Changes and Contact
Parkenjoy may update this Privacy Policy as its services or practices change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
